How To Hang Your Stockings Without A Mantel

‘Tis the season for decorating and celebrating! While our festivities and traditions look a bit more intimate this year, celebrating the holidays in style is giving me so much life!

Isn’t it nice having something cheerful to look forward to?

In case you missed the news, I am officially a Wayfair Homemaker! Basically you get more content and projects I know you’ll love. I’m kicking off my first post with them for the holidays!

We’ve put up the tree, garland and festive planters on the front porch. But I’ve NEVER hung stockings before.

We don’t have a fireplace so the great conundrum of “where do we hang stockings?!” always left me with decision paralysis. So I’d just skip them all together! Haha.

Since Penelope’s old enough now, it was important she get the full Santa experience. So I was determined to make stockings work.

Then I remembered my friend, Gen, of Pencil & Paper Co! She hangs hers on her stairway. THAT I could do!

I’m totally on board with the needlepoint trend, so I went hunting for the perfect stockings. Of course Wayfair has an impeccable selection. Their holiday decor is ENDLESS and different price points mean there’s something for everyone.

We got two Santa stockings for the boys (Sean and Larry) and two angels for the girls (me and Penelope). Sadly ours are sold out but I included more I love below.

We tied them directly on the staircase with garland twisty ties and wallah! Easy peasy.

If you are still in the market for holiday decor and prefer shopping from the comfort of your own home, be sure to check out Wayfair’s holiday shop.

They extended their Cyber Monday promotion too, so hop to it!
