A Chicago Adventure – ACiesta Happy Hour

These past few months I’ve discovered a new Chicago adventure.

You know when you want to do something fun but the ideas aren’t flowing? Or you and your girlfriends are trying to make plans and no one will make a decision? Well, consider your problem solved.

Before your night out, agree to meet at the AC Hotel – AC Lounge (4th floor) for their ACiesta Happy Hour – free snacks, half priced cocktails and half off small plates every weekday from 5 -7 PM. Where else can you find that in the heart of River North?

While you situate yourself at the bar, order some complimentary bites and strike up a conversation with the Barcierges – their concierges disguised as bartenders. Or maybe it’s the other way around? Either way, it’s awesome.

While they whip you up a hand crafted drink, ask their Barcierges to suggest some Windy City destinations for the evening. I don’t know what it is but there’s something liberating about putting your social fate into an expert’s hands.

Trust me – these barcierges know their stuff too. Whether it’s a hidden gem or straight up touristy (which is just as fun). This goes for the beer, wine and drinks too.

I recently meet my girlfriend Puja here for a photoshoot (more to come on that soon!). The lighting and space is perfect for outfit posts by the way. So we ordered some of their delicious snacks – the Spanish olives in lemon oil, seasoned sunflower seeds and crispy kale chips – which were delicious and light. The Prosecco on draft had me at hello too.

So if you’re feeling adventurous – be sure to hit up the AC Hotel for they ACiesta Happy Hour – tonight or any week. The prime location makes it easy too. Salud!
