So give me the 411. How’s life? Are you bored, happy, grateful…going out of your mind?
All the above? Good. Me too.
I do have to say…Penelope is a joy and a half and keeps me on my toes.
She speaks English now. Her favorite word is “bus”. And asks for a “ba-nan” {banana} and a “chic-chic-chic” (a Topo Chico sparkling water) like its her job. She makes a million animal sounds too. And this week she figured out she’s a “baby”. It’s SO. MUCH. FUN.
She’s been quite a mischievous little monkey. She looks me dead in the eye and does something she’s not supposed to. Like throw food on the floor, touch outlets, climb the stairs, stand on the couch. Then she shakes her little finger at me and says “no, no, no”. She knows she is naughty! I try not to laugh but it’s basically impossible.
Other than that, here’s what’s been occupying my time and our most recent purchases. This is my life these days – Penelope, our home and shopping. And I’m grateful for it 🙂
Our Recent Activities and Purchases
- I ordered a Lovevery Box for Penelope and they’re hands down her FAVORITE toys EVER. I was initially skeptical given the price but its worth every penny given how much she plays with every single item! Get $20 off when you use my referral link.
- I’m excited to get our home extra clean and safe with our new Air Purifier c/o TruSens!
- We’re getting our rugs cleaned. The company I used offered porch pick up and drop off so if you need to get yours done too this may be something to consider. Ours were way over due.
- A designer pill bottle for my vitamins. An easy way to spruce up your nightstand.
- Organized our bookshelves.
- After watching Rachel Parcell’s Pantry tour (HIGHLY recommend watching – her pantry is bigger than my kitchen! LOL) I ordered a very similar scrub brush to hers. She made me realize our’s is hideous and doing our kitchen zero favors.
- Penelope LOVES this book right now.
- One of the best things I’ve done during quarantine is my undergarment refresh.
- Steam mop your floors. TRUST ME.
- I’ve been gardening with my new chic gardening tools c/o Mackenzie-Childs. I just planted hydrangeas along our driveway, added some flowers to our front yard and doing some planters today!
- I’ve been sprucing up Penelope’s wardrobe – she’s growing like a weed! Here’s what I got her recently.
- All new pajamas. We ONLY buy Hanna Anderson {they have 50% off sales alll the time} because they’re so comfy and can pass as an outfit too.
- These waterproof shoes (it’s rainy season)
- Zara is my FAVORITE so go her these bow sneakers (if only they came in my size), this trench coat, these sandals and this jumpsuit.
- I also got her this little gingham number and long sleeved dress. TIP: you can use more than one promo code and SAVE BIG TIME!
- Gotta treat yourself too. I just LOVE this blue and white striped dress. I also ordered these comfy, cute pants and can’t WAIT for this shirt to arrive!
- Meet The Avenue – one of the chicest boutiques based in Texas just sent me this monogrammed bow and hostess gift {it includes her favorite cheese knives from France!}. LOVE!
