It does need to be warm lemon water because the warm water flushes your system better. Cold water shocks and won’t flow as freely. Think of the warm water as a nice bath for your insides, opening up and relaxing your digestive system. That being said, I never drink hot lemon water. It’s gross to me, mine is just a little warmer than Luke warm! I hope this helps!
