Hi girls. Long time no talk. I am so excited to kick off a new series, “The Buzz”. I will be highlighting places on my radar and things trending out there in the world. I hope you enjoy Volume I!
1. Luxurious Beach Towels: Forget the typical terry cloth. Lush cotton, soft Turkish material and pretty fringed edges are all the rage now. The one above is divine, however this one is more pocketbook friendly.
2. #GIRLBOSS: Have you heard of this read? I don’t know much about it, but it is popping up on several entrepreneurs and bloggers’ Instagrams. I plan on picking this up very soon.
3. Fig & Olive: I am so pumped Fig & Olive has come to Chicago! And it is going to be quite the hot spot too. I first dined here in NYC a few years back and I am loving the new Gold Coast addition even more. This is the PERFECT “ladies lunching” escape and consists of wine, cheese, fresh salads, champagne and European inspired cocktails. The outside terrace overlooks Oak Street and the two story indoor space is bright and airy. I highly recommend “The Priscine”, a French Riviera cocktail, consisting of sparkling wine on ice with fresh strawberries. If you watch Real Housewives of OC and/or NYC, you have probably noticed them dining at the LA and NY locations. Make your reservations now before it is too late.
