The Barney’s of Vintage – Randolph Street Market

Oprah and celebrity designer, Nate Berkus, coined it “The Barney’s of Vintage” and is one of Chicago’s best offerings in my opinion. If you are not familiar with Randolph Street Market, it’s time you should be! A monthly antique show in the West Loop, this market includes one-of-a-kind treasures that can take your home and wardrobe to a whole new level. Think furniture, jewelry, clothes and decor that tell secrets and stories. True Story: One of my favorite cuffs was from Randolph Street Market but “mis-placed” in the Play Pen in Lake Michigan. Ooops! It still haunts me to this day. They also serve some of the best crepes, coffee and cocktails to take along on your adventure.

I am heading there this weekend to help find some beautiful accessories for a friend’s new home! Such a fun place to incorporate one-of-a-kind pieces that no one else will have. In addition to attending, I am also onsite as a choice Tastemaker, choosing some of favorite items! I was so excited when they asked me to pick out a few things that strike my fancy. It is going to be difficult to narrow it down. But I am sure I will manage đŸ˜‰ I also will be donating an item who’s 100% proceeds go to the charity of my choice, Almost Home Kids!

Have you ever been to Randolph Street Market? Where is your favorite place to find those one-of-a-kind pieces? It’s quite entertaining to explain the story behind unique pieces in your home and I find a great ice breaker for new company!
