So many people have helped me in the past with photos, that I want to pay it forward today!
I will take and edit photos for 4 people who can meet at:
- The AC Hotel (bar/restaurant area) – this is in River North, right next to Eataly.
- On Wednesday, October 21st (next week!)
- Between 4:00 – 6:00 PM
I planned a photoshoot with fashion stylist, Puja, at this time and thought, why not invite some extra people to join? This can be of yourself, a product you sell, details, or just some random images you want to have on hand for social media, your blog or website.
It will be so much fun to all help each other and bounce ideas off one another. Just come fresh faced and with any props needed.
Images are absolutely imperative to businesses and blogging these days. And even if you aren’t a blogger, I recommend having a couple nice photos on hand for LinkedIn and those other random times you are required to fork over a profile picture.
Between the visually based social media channels – Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook – and your websites, if you don’t have quality photos – you will not be taken seriously. I know it’s harsh – but it is reality. You would never buy a magazine with images taken with camera phones right? Vogue gone rogue anyone?
I used to and still struggle with getting someone to take my photo – whether it be of myself or a DIY. And until you can afford to spend a pretty penny on a professional DSLR camera, editing software and then take HOURS of time learning how to use it – you are pretty much SOL. Or you can hire a Professional for hundreds of dollars. Yikes!

This is a great idea! Everyone needs headshots for linked in, other random times….slash online dating and Tinder…Really, it should be mandatory for everyone to have one decent high quality photo that represents how you actually look. Multiple for ever male on Tinder.
