Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s full on Christmas mode in the Regan household.
The televised Yule Log is lit, the cookies are made and the presents are under the tree.
Of course, with the holidays, cocktails are also a plenty.
Although the tree is up, Sean and I have a tradition I thought I’d share. After a nice homemade dinner, I put on Christmas music, whip up special cocktails, and we decorate the tree together. It makes our home feel so homey and cozy. Larry (our pup) tries to participate too.
I love trying new recipes, so last night I made Spiced Apple Margaritas. They are apple-y and cinnamon-y but light and refreshing. After coming off of Thanksgiving, they’re perfect.
Last night it all went down, so I had to share! This recipe was adapted from Cookie and Kate but with a few tweaks. Get the details below.
• 2 ounces Hornitos® Tequila Spiced Honey
• 1½ to 2 ounces apple juice or cider
• ¾ ounce fresh lime juice (about 1 medium lime, juiced)
• ¾ teaspoon agave nectar
• A dash of cinnamon sugar
