Moscow Mule

You know that boy I live with, Sean? You’ll never guess what he did.

Gingerhead sent me two boxes of their Moscow Mules to “taste test”. They’re Chicago made and come in cans! It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta to do it.

Upon arrival, Sean and I cracked one open and gave it a whirl. A TEN out of a TEN.

Fast forward 2 weeks…I’m finally ready to blog about these glorious beverages. So I bust out my camera, open the fridge, only to find…they’re gone. Not a lone soldier left.

After a heavy interrogation, Mr. Regan admitted he’d been a bad boy. He loved the Gingerhead Moscow Mules so much, he drank them all. Every. Last. One.

Now you’re probably wondering…”how did you take these pics?!”.

Behold. There was a silver lining to this story! He forgot to throw a can away. If you live with a boy, you are probably as shocked as I am.

So yeah…these pictures are 100% staged. But they look great right?! I secretly poured an imposter ginger beer into the “survival can” and snapped these pics. At least I’m honest right? And now you know how delicious they truly are!

Full disclosure, Sean and I had doubts about the cans. But much to our delight, they taste equally as delicious as the ones we make at home with fresh lime and ginger liquor!

If you live in Chicago, be sure to pick up your own Gingerheads at Mariano’s or Wholefoods. They’d be especially fantastic for boating, Ravinia, camping, picnics and parties – when you don’t want to deal with all the ingredients and hassle of making Moscow Mules. The work is already done!

Just be sure to hide them behind the potato salad in the fridge so your “roomate” doesn’t drink them all.

Happy Friday friends!
