Every now and then, I stumble across a trend that works for multiple seasons. Then I never take it off!

This year? Gingham.

With Fall on the horizon, I thought I’d show you how to wear this hot trend from the final days of summer well into autumn. Saving YOU, tons of money. Feel free to send me a check.

I just picked out this long sleeved A line dress and adore it! But there are so many cute options out there. You can’t go wrong with this classic print.

For casual meetings or running errands, I recommend pairing you gingham with simple sandals (these are my FAVORITE) and a large tote (to carry all your stuff!). Obviously with an iced coffee in hand.

gingham and leather jacket

When the temps cool down, pair your gingham with your trusty leather jacket (I’ve had mine for years) and pumps. The mix of fabrics and texture screams perfection. I learned juxtaposing feminine accessories with leather really elevates and softens your look! So I went with my light pink, quilted Vera Bradley handbag. It’s old, but you get the point.

Hmmmmm….maybe this should be a day to night kinda post? Either way…it’s working.

And speaking of working…have you jumped on the dainty gold bandwagon? Statement necklaces have taken a backseat.

To really pull your look together, layer your delicate chains. I wear mine in the shower, yoga class and even while sleeping. They go with everything! Even t-shirts.

Marrin Costello’s pieces are especially my favorites. I wear her gold bowzer bracelet in every blog post and I just got this and this. When it comes to gold jewelry, I recommend purchasing quality so they don’t tarnish, tangle and last you for years.

Any trends you’re loving right now? I hate to say it, but I’m {almost} excited for fall!

P.S. My dress runs tiny, tiny, tiny. I ordered a large and Sean still had to zip me up {not the first time and won’t be the last.} But I truly do love it.  I listed several other gingham treasures below too.

Kelly, thank you for snapping these pics as always!
