So how was your Thanksgiving weekend? I thought we could catch up since it’s been awhile! In no particular order…

We spent the weekend with my parents in Barrington. My mom helped me pick out greenery for our home. Apparently Boxwood wreaths are all the rage and always the first to go. So snag them now! Mine is perched on our red front door as we speak.

Yesterday, my sister-in-law and I shot our Holiday Gift Guide! Not to toot our own horn, but it’s going to be AWESOME. Expect to see tips and ideas you won’t find anywhere else. We really  wanted our ideas to be different from the typical blogosphere go to’s. So stay tuned for Dec. 6th! HINT: If you sign up for my newsletter, you will get it early (see sign up on the right hand side).

This week I’m shopping One of A Kind Show {the best Christmas gift oasis ever}; lunching at the University Club; and touring the Frank Lloyd Wright Emil Bach Home. Have you been to any of these?

I have some exciting things for you guys in 2017! A huge thanks to my mom for helping me strategize this weekend. And boy are we excited! It’s different from what I’ve seen anyone else do and I can’t wait to walk you through it next month. It’s not crazy different, but much more planned out and effective.

I started the book – Big, Little Lies – which is to be HBO’s newest show. Reese Witherspoon is in it!

Lastly, I’m doing a weight loss Holiday Challenge. If you’d like to join me, comment below! The goal is to maintain or loose weight starting now through January 6th. I paid $10 to enter at my gym and I can’t believe how much more motivated I feel. I think it’s because I have an actual goal.

Did you guys have a nice Thanksgiving? Anything new? I’m so happy to be back in action on the blog!

P.S. That’s our pup, Larry and my parents’ dog, Rebel, above. Larry tolerates Rebel as best he can. He prefers being the only child, not having to share attention and table scraps 😉
