I’m pumped to share 2 cool things happening in Chicago this weekend. Which I had NO IDEA existed until recently. Not only are they amazing events, but I’ve been working with them behind the scenes!
First up is Chicago Toy and Game Week at Navy Pier. Did you know every year Chicago hosts the LARGEST Public Toy & Game Fair in the US?!
Kids can play in interactive stations; get the first look at the newest hottest toys on the shelves; meet inventors {the inventors of Jenga and Operation will be there!} and knock out a ton of Christmas shopping! Not to mention go inside the World’s Largest Pom Pom and so much more. There’s something for kids of ALL ages. And adults have been known to enjoy it more than the kids. I really can’t wait to see all of our hard work come together.
Secondly is the PlayCHIC Fashion Show!
This will be my first year attending and honored to be an ambassador, amongst some very other fashionable ladies!

I’ve been told attending PlayChic is unlike any other fashion show you’ve experienced.
Chicago’s top fashion designers have spent the past few months designing couture inspired by playful toys and games. Borris Powell, will serve as host for the evening and creating a womenswear look inspired by Twister. Elda De La Rosa is teaming up with Twister for an evening womenswear design. PomPomWow and Orbeez are creating their own looks, one made of 11,000 pom poms!
I can’t think of a better reason to get dolled up and dance the night away. I think going to new places and events outside your normal bubble is when magic happens. A ton of my girlfriends are coming as well!

P.S. The scallops on this dress are so unexpected and I’m OBSESSED with my new pumps. I secretly wanted blush but I have so many nude heels, I got the black. Also, I checked out Nordstrom’s Last Chance store in Yorktown (there are only 2 in the country!) and scored this Mackage coat for $150 {regularly $990}!!!! Along with a pair of Loubitans…get there if you haven’t already!
