Happy Friday my friends!
What’s on the agenda? We’re laying low tonight because we have our fancy annual Holiday Hotel Bar Crawl tomorrow. It’s our 4th year. It all began one night on a whim with 8 friends. Now we’re up to 40! I’m wearing this.
I of course will be sipping champagne, so I thought I’d pass along all my wisdom. Lord knows I’ve had some practice. Especially since I dedicated an entire spread to bubbly in my Holiday Cheer Gift Guide with Sam!
In case you haven’t checked it out, there are few really cool things. Even if you’ve been reading it every night before bed, you may have missed these tidbits. (That was a joke btw).
- Did you know Lamarca Prosecco lets you personalize their bottle label? It’s seriously the cutest thing ever and COMPLETELY FREE! I have 4 in the mail as we speak. Talk about killer stocking stuffers and hostess gifts. Watch this adorable video and tell me you aren’t doing it. {See page 21}
- Did you know you’re opening champagne wrong? It’s actually quite easy. This trick also helps you be perceived as a pro. Just in time for the work Christmas party too. {See page 20}
- Try a champagne garnish bar! It’s easy and fun. Just pop a bottle and leave out your favorite garnishes. I suggest 5 fun ones on page 17 (#5 is really impressive in person).
- Stock your bar with the best bubbly you can get. I share several sparklers that have been known to pass for real champagne and a fraction of the price. No one will know the difference.
- Dress up your bottles. These affordable Kate Spade bottle labels are key. They add an extra touch that make bottles look special and festive.
- My favorite champagne glasses at the moment (and they’re quite reasonably priced)
