How To Look Amazing In The Morning

Guys. I just learned the BEST trick. It’s so simple, it’s silly.

By doing this one thing, not only will your hair stay fluffy and voluminous all day, you’ll look your best morning self every time.

This especially comes in handy during vacations with other people. You know, when you have to see people un showered, in your PJ’s? Gives me anxiety just thinking about it!

So here it is.

Use dry shampoo preventively. Instead of applying after your hair is greasy, spray if on before bed. This way the powder absorbs the oils as you sleep. In the morning you’ll pop out of bed with style ready locks. No degreasing! Just a little touch up and you’re on your way.

Genius right? If you have fine, blonde hair (like me!) that gets greasy and loses oomph by the end of the day, I apply Ka Pow by Cibu after blow drying. This way my hair lasts all day.

I’ve also been trying Cibu’s 8 Days A Week texture finishing spray lately. Ideal for thin, fine hair it  absorbs oil too and adds extra volume and texture. Unlike the dry shampoo, you apply this to wet hair! I typically shy away from lots of hair products {they “weigh” down my strands}, but this one actually works wonders for longer days and nights.

I brought both of these on my recent trips to Erin Hills and Indianapolis with our friends and family. Instead of spending time washing and blow drying my hair, I got ready in half the time and spent the morning catching up with our friends. Who knew the key to killer hair (and a better vacation) is just being preventative? Like everything in life right?!
