Hi friends! I hope you had a great weekend!
Some of you may have seen that I went to Nashville this weekend. The purpose of the trip was a little bit of business, mixed with A LOT of pleasure. We ate so much glorious food and I can’t believe how much Nashville is BLOWING UP guys. It’s the trendiest little town and supposedly they’re building eighty new hotels THIS YEAR.
The main reason I went though, was to attend a Creative Camp, hosted by one of my FAVORITE blogs, Pencil & Paper Co. Gen, the founder, is a Nashville interior designer and blogger and decided to invite 24 strangers into her ‘straight out of a magazine’ home and take us around to her favorite spots in Nashville. This is just a sneak peek of her house!
Every camper flew in from across the country to be there (with the exception of ONE local!). I’d say 85% of the people came by themselves, so it was the most welcoming and stylish group I could have asked for! Can’t wait to share the full recap – that will be filled with OOOOOODLES of tips and advice. Since it was so successful, she’s doing another one this Fall. So I’ll be sure to keep you guys in the loop if you want to go too.
As for life in general, I have a photoshoot this week for a few fun interior design projects I’m working on. Now I’ve got to get ready for my second speaking engagement, plus lots of big announcements coming VERY, VERY soon. Eeeeek! I can’t even wait to tell you guys.
Now that it’s officially August, we have every single weekend planned to the max. Including Labor Day weekend in Michigan. Which means fall is right around the corner. Holy cow, can you believe it?!
