4 Last Minute Fall Decorating Ideas

This year I’m all about simple fall decorations. Normally I go crazy with pumpkins and gourds, but between being pregnant, work and renovating two bedrooms, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed. So I’m kind of glossing over the whole pumpkin thing this time. {P.S. We FINALLY picked out carpet though!}
Scroll below to see how I incorporated just a touch of autumn to our home – that’s simple, easy to replicate and will last me straight through Christmas. Not to mention, some of them are appropriate year round.

Myrtle Topiaries

If you don’t know, myrtle topiaries are basically THE IT TREND in the interior design world. See Exhibit A, B & C if you don’t believe me. Luckily they are readily available September through the holidays. However the closer to December we get, the harder they are to find because they sell out.  I just picked up three from a local nursery. If you can’t find any near you, my friend {who I meet at Creative Camp} told me you can order them online here! P.S. These simple fall decorations look great year round.

Pumpkin Candies

For as long as I can remember, my mom puts out a small candy bowl of these sour pumpkin gummies every October and November. She puts them in her living room for company to find. They are ADDICTING and bring back so many memories. I did the same at our house and it’s fun to see guests discover and try them. A follower told me she spied some similar ones at Home Goods for a fraction of the price. I also love these pumpkin caramels that I used to style my Fall Cocktails. They melt in your mouth!

An Unexpected Candle Scent

I like pumpkin spice just as much as the next person. But I also like something a little more classic that can last well into Christmas. We’ve been lighting this cedar candle every night from TreeTime – my go to spot for holiday decor.
