All right guys – here’s the first Cedar & Rush gift guide of the season! These suggestions are for those people you have NO CLUE what to get. Maybe it’s your mother-in-law, boss, that person who has EVERYTHING and even the guy you just started dating but have no clue what your status is…

I touched on this earlier earlier, but here’s what makes my gift guides extra special.

WHAT MAKES MY GIFT GUIDES DIFFERENT

There are a million gift guides out there – and so many good ones too! Given they can all look the same, here is what makes mine different, so you can determine if they are good fit for you!

  • Thoughtful, unique and personalized: All of my gifts can either be monogrammed {but they don’t have to be}, custom OR you can add a little something extra to make it personal.
  • Not based on affiliates or commissions: Each gift has been carefully hand picked throughout the entire year {I am CONSTANTLY on the look out, even in the summer}. So this isn’t a last minute scramble on what’s been newly released by Nordstrom this month {even though I love those too!}. Every idea is something I 100% would give a loved one. I also include lots of suggestions that do not include ANY affiliate links because they are truly great ideas!
  • Read the descriptions to make your gifts go even further! The trick to making your gifts look more expensive and shows you put a lot of thought into it, is adding a little something extra to it. I include lots of these “extras” for you in the descriptions below. So don’t just look at the pictures! I promise they are worth your while reading.
  • So many affordable options! There are a few items here under $20 but the majority of these are in that sweet spot of $50-$100.

GIFT IDEAS FOR THE HARD TO FIND

  • Nothing is better than the gift of time. Like caviar and a fine bottle of champagne to be enjoyed together over the holidays! This will be something they’ll never forget! You get to indulge, catch up and make an entire experience out of it. I would suggest Veuve, Piper or Moet for your bubbly. You could also do live lobsters or a bag of oysters that you shuck together!

Tip: This is especially great if you just started dating someone and you’re unsure if they’ll get you a gift. It’s a nice gesture, you get to enjoy it too and it’s not something tangible they keep.

  • Inspire them! A coffee table book is another one of those items a lot of people don’t like purchasing for themselves – which is what makes it such a great gift. I personally think this Classic Style book is SO cute and gives you lots of great style advice. The images are ADORABLE and you can’t brat the $20 price tag. But best of all, it doubles as stylish decor on your bedside, shelf and coffee table. Tip: Any coffee table book will do! And if your recipient lives out of state, just Amazon Prime it.
  • Megan Markles favorites! Most of you know I’m a huge fan of the Birdies Slippers – which the princess has been wearing for years. She was just spotted wearing the velvet pair a couple weeks ago {bump in tow!}. I have two pairs and have given both my mom and mother in law some too! Tip: you can buy gift cards on their website and they can pick out their own pair and inside linings.
  • What the French Wear: When I went to Paris for Christmas last year, EVERYONE wore a camel or gray scarf. Monogram this classic accessory – that’s ALSO reversible! It comes in other colors too.
  • Much More Than It Looks: I’m not one to usually suggest a small catchall or tray – but this one really caught my eye. First off – you can get it monogrammed for FREE. It can be used to dress up your desk, vanity or entryway display. This fun eyeglass-silhouette catchall is only $19, the metallic makes the perfect quirky gift for anyone who enjoys a fun accent piece and a good pair of spectacles. The catchall comes in gold and silver and can be lasered with a monogram.
  • Louis Vuitton for $20:  If your recipient loves to travel, has an upcoming trip or from somewhere else, the Louis Vuitton City Guides are such a great idea! And who would guess how affordable they are? You could gift this along an airline or hotel gift card. It can also double as a luxury coffee table book afterwards. Decor with meaning is the best interior design in my opinion.
  • The Gift They’ll Keep Forever: Custom stationary is exceptionally useful and versatile and makes a wonderful impression. And when it has their name on it, they’ll keep it forever. To add an extra touch, these custom return address labels are STUNNING and you could also gift a nice pen or leather bound brief case. I love this idea for a boss or career driven person. I’m actually asking for some on my Christmas wish list this year because I think it’s so classy.
  • The New “IT” Beauty Trend: I think every woman likes to be “in the know” especially when it comes to beauty. Winky Lux is the new “it” beauty brand that’s recently stolen the show {despite being around for awhile}. The packaging looks like pill capsules and all the ingredients are super clean.
  • Feel Put Together Everyday: A tote is an extension of every woman’s body. And if I was a betting woman, it’s time your loved one got an upgrade. I adore this red one for a classic but subtle statement! I love the leather tie on top and you of course, can get it monogrammed. If you want to make this extra special, slip some of that custom stationary or a Winky Lux lip balm inside for a fun surprise! P.S. This is another item going on my Christmas wish list!
  • Forever In Thread: Guys. This lady is SO talented! She stitches portraits through cross stitch. But it doesn’t feel grandma like. It’s in a cool way. I love how this gift can serve as a wonderful piece of art that can be framed and cherished for a lifetime! It’s probably something your intended hasn’t thought of getting for herself.
  • When In Doubt: A nice pair of gloves always does this trick. These are so beautiful and the layers of leather and wool will make anyone look put together!
