If you’re looking for baby shower hostess gifts, you’ve come to the right spot!

It takes a lot of work and time throwing a baby shower! From finding a venue, managing RSVP’s, setting up the decor…Not to mention welcoming guests, clean up, expenses and more.

After my girlfriends threw me a shower, I wanted to show them how much I appreciated their help. So I knew a hostess gift was in order! But easier said than done.

To find a nice gift, multiple hostesses will enjoy, despite their age or interests, it’s nearly impossible. Plus they need to all be the same, add up to a reasonable price point and not feel cheap.

Since the suggestions I found online were pretty sub-par, I wanted to spare you the time of researching and racking your brain and give you some classy and thoughtful ideas.

Scroll below to see exactly what I did, plus five other baby shower hostess gift ideas.

What I Did

Most people won’t spend the money on coffee table books for themselves. Which makes them a wonderful present! They’re fun to read and double as decor for their bookshelves, coffee tables and nightstands.

For my girlfriends, I gifted them the book, Eat. Drink. Nap. by the famous private social club, Soho House. Famous for their interior design, hospitality and recipes, the book divulges their tips and secrets! Since the title of the book “Eat. Drink. Nap” reminded me of a baby’s schedule {Eat, Drink, Nap – get it?!} – I thought it made for the perfect shower hostess gift!

Inside, I tucked a heartfelt message saying “my new schedule will include a lot of Eating, Drinking and Napping – so here is a much chicer version for you to enjoy at home too!”

Here are some other ideas that I considered as well!

Baby Shower Hostess Gifts – 6 Ideas

ONE: Other Coffee Table Books: This one, this one and this one are so fun!

TWO: Something Monogrammed: You honestly can’t go wrong with Mark & Graham {they personalize and monogram everything!}. Their different price points will meet any budget for baby shower hostess gifts too. Like these for just $22! PRO TIP: RIGHT NOW you can get 20% OFF and FREE SHIPPING using Promo Code: GP73RE89! Oh and they gift wrap for FREE too!

THREE: Fancy Flowers {sent to their home}: Not just ANY bouquet will do. Go bold with this, this or this floral company. If you need something fast {because you waited the last minute}, this is always a great choice too! PRO TIP: Have a bouquet scheduled to arrive directly to their home the day of the shower. This way they don’t have to worry about lugging it home and a prompt thank you is as gracious as it gets.

FOUR: Manicure Gift Card: Who doesn’t love a good mani? Not to mention, it’s appropriate for all ages! PRO TIP: SpaFinder is a fabulous {and super easy} way to give a gift card. They’re compatible with spas and salons all around the US and you don’t have to go anywhere to buy it either. Pair it with a bottle of nail polish {Urban Jungle is my favorite right now} and you’ve got yourself the perfect present!

FIVE: Homemade Food: The older I get, the more I appreciate a homemade baked good or treat. It’s the gift of time and something yummy ANYONE will appreciate.

SIX: A Heart Felt Note: The most important part of a gift! And it’s FREE. Tell a memory that involves you and that specific person or point out a special quality you love about each host. Telling people how much they are appreciated ensures you didn’t take their efforts for granted! If you never know what to write, here’s my EXACT template for writing a memorable thank you note.

A Few Additional Baby Shower Hostess Gift Tips

  • Give your loved ones a gift they actually want. Versus a tote with your  baby shower date on it.
  • When it comes to timing, I suggest handing out the gifts at the end of the shower, once most guests have left. This way your hosts can read your note and really take in your thoughtful gift in the comfort of their own home. AKA zero distractions.
  • The unexpected is so much more fun! Anything wine related, cheese boards, bath bombs, trays, candles, etc. are nice but something different will look like you put in the extra thought. Which goes a long way!

Any baby shower hostess gifts you’ve given or received? I’d love to know!
