How To Get An Interior Designer Without the High Price

As many of you know, our interior designer, Melissa Mahoney, has single handedly transformed our home – from our entryway, to our dining room, to our breakfast nook.

How I Use An Interior Designer Without Paying The Big Bucks

Behind the scenes, I’ve also been using her exclusive House To Home 101 Group (H2H 101) for other projects. Like refinishing our basement (from paint selection, to sofa style, to furniture layout); re-siding the exterior of our house (like siding color, type/size of shutters and placement); and even helped with our backyard patio.

Although I LOVE having her full dedicated attention on projects, there’s something to be said about the ease and quickness of her H2H 101 Group. Sean actually prefers this to her full design services because we get decisive answers immediately!

Since we’ve personally used Melissa’s H2H Home Group so much, I invited her to share all about it. It’s truly a wonderful resource and I’ve never seen another designer do this before. She rarely opens it up to new members, so if you need help with your home, I would HOP ON IT {BTW – she’s opening up a few early bird slots to Cedar & Rush readers – see the bottom of this email!}.

Before I have Melissa take over, I also like to point out she is the REAL DEAL. She isn’t self taught and this isn’t a passion project. She graduated college with an interior design degree and worked on commercial projects AROUND THE WORLD for many years before going out on her own.

Since working with Melissa, I’ve had personal friends and family hire her for their homes. From full kitchen makeovers to an entire home demolition.

And there’s been one common thread of feedback…Her professionalism, responsiveness and gentle approach makes the entire experience exciting and enjoyable.

Okay, take it away Melissa!

Meet Melissa, Her Work & Her Exclusive House To Home 101 Program

Hi there!

It’s me, Melissa, Nicole’s Interior Designer. I’m hopping into the Cedar & Rush spotlight for a minute, to give you all a heads up on my fresh launch of House to Home 101 – by MMDH (H2H 101).

Many of you are supporters and fans of what Nicole and I have been up to together in Nicole’s home, a lot of you have jumped over to follow along with all of the Melissa Mahoney Design House goings on, and some of you are already Founding Members of my H2H 101 design-ready homeowner’s group! Thank you!!

For those of you who weren’t ready for the concept of my House to Home 101 group last year [it was a new idea for all of us!], I’m opening enrollment back up this month to help you kick off your next 6-months of home projects. You now have a fresh opportunity to join us as your motivating and knowledgeable accountability partner in home projects, from styling to construction.

Nicole has been a Member of H2H 101 from the get-go, and even though you have seen a handful of projects we have worked one-on-one together in her home (living room styling, entryway refresh, dining room overhaul, etc.), there are always projects she is working on outside of the spaces we are working on together. H2H 101 has been her sounding board and second set of eyes on all of them!

I created this group to give homeowners who are not interested in or in the market for full scope interior design services, but who love the idea of having readily available professional insight on the projects they are investing in for their homes.

My goal is to put an end to the mistaken product orders, the missed opportunities, and the decision paralysis that design-ready homeowners experience when going it alone on projects.

Examples of H2H 101 Conversations

This group is a judgement-free zone where you can post photos and questions of your ongoing home projects for quick feedback (below are screenshots of interactions with Nicole in the group). It is a space where you not only receive experienced design and construction advice from professionals, but also from other homeowners who are in the same project process as you, and might be a few steps further with LOTS of helpful insight to share.

In my opinion, no one should feel like they are alone when it comes to transforming their house into their dream home, let alone investing their savings into filling their home with items they are not sure are even going to fit!

There was a missing link from interior design services for personalized professional ongoing advice that does not break the bank or take months out to schedule. Not anymore! House to Home 101 is HERE for YOU!

Your membership is for a full 6-month of design guidance from a professional [that’s me!] who has been making design decisions on projects for the past 16 years and has learned A LOT of lessons along the way!

HURRY! How To Secure Your Spot

We are opening enrollment for our July through December group to a limited number of new members on June 25th. Enrollment will close at the end of the month or as soon as it fills up, whichever comes first!

If you are ready to take full advantage of all this group has to offer and jump right in, I am offering a few early bird slots to Cedar & Rush readers who join my waitlist list in the next few days!

Join my zero-commitment mailing list here to get your opportunity to be the first to dive right into designing your dream home!

A huge thanks to MMDH for being a long term partner of Cedar & Rush! Opinions are 100% my own.
