What’s tall, fabulous and red all over?
Chicago’s newest hotel! Did you know Virgin, as in the Mobile & Airline company, is opening a hotel right here in Chicago?! Located on the cusp of the loop (right by the river) and downtown, it’s doors plan to open this Thursday, January 15th. If you are familiar with their airline, their brand is known for it’s modern, fun and oh so fabulous accommodations. And the hotel will be ten times that. They even have a rooftop bar and a whimsical diner in the plans for the hotel’s near future. I always love a good watering hole with a view. As for now, I would love to come here for an after work drink in their lobby lounge just to check it out.
As for the attire, I recommend something office appropriate that easily transitions from the desk to cocktails. With the Loop location, I foresee this new spot attracting lots of business men and women after a long day at the office. And given rain is in the forecast for their grand opening, a bright and cheery umbrella will help things looking up.
