I delayed posting about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for TWO reasons. And it’s these very two reasons why you should listen to me over all the other #NSale {the official Nordstrom Anniversary Sale hashtag} round ups.
- I needed to see the sale in person. I like to touch the merchandise and sashay through the racks.
- I don’t know about you, but don’t you feel overwhelmed with all the online options? It’s like where the heck do we start?! So you know what I did? I let my favorite fashion bloggers and Instagrammers do the leg work and compile their favorites first. Then I hand selected the best of the best. The creme de la creme if you will. It’s like scooping the caviar garnish off the main entree – because we all know it’s the best part but no one has the guts to do it. Well I do and I did.
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the most opportune time to invest in your Fall Wardrobe. Think on trend pieces at a great price. Even the biggest fashion bloggers (who receive so many free clothes) break out their wallets.

I basically stole Liz’s exact look above {I’ve been doing it for years and she knows it}. I bought the Joie sandals (they are $100 off for goodness sakes!). Which are soooooooo beautiful on. The pictures do not do them justice. Also when the man helping me brought them out, I was slightly disappointed by the color. But when I slipped them on, it was magic. Pure magic. I plan on wearing them more than my Steve Madden nudes I wear in every single post.
Okay I have some Bad News {but good news too!}. The FRAME “Le High Straight” Staggered Hemmed jeans pictured above sold out nation wide in one day. I called Utah, Oakbrook Mall 4 times and a few other states. Nada. Zilch. I almost cried. They all told me this specific style sold out like hotcakes.
BUT THEN! My new friend at Oakbrook Mall called me yesterday and gave me the super secret #NSale low down. Apparently they are expecting a whole new allotment in the very near future. So call them, give them your credit card and call dibs on these bad boys. In the meantime, I got these.
