A Piece of My Story

You know me and advice. It’s like free air – anyone who’s in the vicinity, I’ll give it to you.

I recently partook in quite the candid Q&A with a jewelry company – Pieces of Me. They love questioning ladies who hustle! You know, like me. Boss Lady. Feel free to call me BL for short.

So I divulged my life changing business advice; what it’s REALLY like landing your “dream job” (hint: it’s not so dreamy!); and tips I wish I knew when first starting out.

You can catch the full interview here! But before you do, please read on for a special little somethin’ somethin’.

If you are wondering why a jewelry company is interviewing me, excellent question. “Nicole, you wear the same necklace and bracelet in every blog post. Not to mention shoes too! How could you possibly contribute?!” I always pride myself on how smart you readers are. {For the record I just bought new shoes!}.

Pieces of Me believes in  “expressing your personality” and being true to yourself.  Each style represents a different individual trait and they want their pieces to serve as a reminder to stay true to yourself every day. Their traits include…a dreamer (that’s me!), ambitious, adventurous and so many more.

Their custom cuffs secretly remind me of the famous Cartier bracelets, but completely different all at the same time. They go with eeeeeeeverything too. I know because I’ve been wearing mine with my entire closet. Fun fact: I change my outfit twice a day so I can confirm these things double the speed of an ordinary human. Wouldn’t these make for great graduation, bridesmaid and birthday gifts?

Best of all? They are offering a 10% off discount to all my readers! Use the promo code: Cedar&Rush10 for anything in the store! They gifted me mine, but I truly do love it. Plus I’m a huge supporter of local and small business owners. We are one of a kind.

I hope you enjoy the interview and let me know if you read it! Any business or career advice you wish you knew starting out? I’d love to hear.

XOXO,

BL
