Girls Day Holiday Shopping Itinerary with Burr Ridge

Fifteen days till Christmas guys. Let that sink in for a moment.

Do you have your holiday shopping done? I didn’t think so!

Since so many of you live in Chicago, I wanted to tell you about one of my favorite shopping spots just 15 miles away from the city – Burr Ridge Village Center. Arin and I meet here last week and made it a fun girls day!

One thing Chicagoland doesn’t lack is the shopping. I mean we have some of the best in the country! But what makes Burr Ridge DIFFERENT is the mix of big retailers AND local/one-of-a-kind shops. I don’t know where else you can find this type of mix in such a small radius.

Below is our EXACT itinerary so you can replicate it yourself. Not to mention knock out all your holiday shopping in one day! So you can get the most amount of shopping done in the least amount of time, I put these in order by location. Not to mention this will make your walks outside as short as possible. It’s chilly out there!

Girls Day Holiday Shopping Itinerary

10 – 10:30 AM
Starbucks

Grab your favorite coffee beverage before you hit the shops. It’s the perfect spot to meet, get a little pick me up and catch up before some retail therapy!

10:30 – 11 AM
Evereve

For all the women in your lives – Evereve carries the cutest brands. Their curated selection is attainable, but on trend. And unbeknownst to lot of people, Evereve carries a ton of brands you’ll find at your favorite retailers. I’d say they cater towards fashionable moms {every store has a very chic play area for kids so moms can shop in peace} but here’s a little secret. Even if you don’t have children, they have the BEST sales and selection. For example, while we were shopping, a woman scored a pair of Paige jeans {normally $250} for $120! So many of my stylish friends shop here and whenever I ask “where did you get that?” they say “Evereve!”. P.S. Get yourself something here too!

11 – 11:20 AM
Bath & Body Works

Okay, you know I’m a LOVER of Bath and Body Works candles. These make for great stocking stuffers or just a little something for the neighbors, co-workers and girlfriends. My favorite holiday scent is Maple Cinnamon Pancakes!

11:30 – 12 PM
Eddie Bauer

If you have men or family members who love to work out or spend time outdoors, Eddie Bauer carries well tailored and sleek outerwear. Ideal for loved ones who like adventure and action!

12 – 1 PM
Lunch at Hampton Social

Time to rest and rejuvenate at one of my FAVORITE restaurants in the burbs! Hampton Social’s cocktails are the best. And nothing will warm you up like a bowl of their tomato soup. The best way to take a break before tackling the rest of the people off your list.

1 – 1:30 PM
Gymboree

For all the kiddos, nieces and nephews in your life! I could not even handle their darling cozy sweaters, fleece pants and fun prints. So many chic outfits to make your favorite little ones stylish, comfy and warm for the rest of the winter. Home run.

1:30 – 1:45 PM
Barbara Book Store

You can NEVER go wrong with books for presents. Michelle Obama’s new read is so hot right now! And coffee table books are another item most people don’t normally splurge on themselves. Which makes for the perfect gift.

2 PM – ?
Spa Day and MORE!

If you are in for a little pampering, treat yourself to an end of day massage or facial at Kohler Spa! It’s insanely beautiful and one of the best spas in Chicago. For a few of my other favorite stores at Burr Ridge {one includes a secret bar, some treats for your fur babies and one of the coolest interior design shops!}, click here NOW.

A huge thanks to Burr Ridge for sponsoring this post!
