How To Host A Holiday Wrapping Party

Every Christmas my friend invites her mom over for martinis and they knock out their gift wrapping. The fact that she turned a chore into something fun is not only genius, but it’s something you can pull off last minute.

If you’d like to turn this inevitable holiday chore into the perfect excuse for getting the girls together, scroll below for inspiration, key tips and a FUN cocktail recipe {that’s only a few ingredients}!

Step 1: Create A Self Serve Festive Cocktail Station

Probably the most important part. The drinks. Hot Chocolate cocktails are my personal favorite – especially since it’s freezing out. Jackson Morgan is my go to for making festive drinks without all the work. The key is letting guests serve themselves so you can get your wrapping done too. I suggest making a huge vat of hot chocolate. Then guests can add a splash or two of peppermint mocha, salted caramel or any of the other Jackson Morgan flavors. Here’s a delicious recipe you can display and requires TWO ingredients!

PEPPERMINT MOCHA HOT CHOCOLATE

Dress up your classic hot cocoa with a little extra somethin’!

Ingredients:

Your favorite hot chocolate
Jackson Morgan Southern Cream in Peppermint Mocha
Garnish with whipped cream, sprinkles or crushed peppermint!

Directions:

Pour yourself a standard 8 oz mug of your favorite hot chocolate. Add a shot {or two!} of Jackson Morgan Southern Cream in Peppermint Mocha. Swizzle with a spoon, sip and be social!

Step 2: Make Wrapping Easy

Provide plenty of scissors, tape, ribbon, pens, tags and wrapping paper! I recommend at least one pair of scissors per person. Don’t have enough? ask guests to bring extras so there’s plenty to go around.

Step 3: Keep It Organized

Designate a place to keep unwrapped and wrapped gifts organized. No mixing presents right?!

Step 4: Admire Your Work

Relish in the fact that you just crossed a huge item off your to-do list – all while spilling a little tea and sipping hot cocoa! Nothing like a little productivity to make you feel ahead of the game.

Have you guys ever hosted or gone to a holiday wrapping party? Tell me this isn’t the best idea since sliced bread. If I can get my act together {this whole baby thing is taking over my life!}, I may try to host a little, tiny one myself.

As always, please sip responsibility. Cheers friends!
