We’re hosting Sean’s family this weekend! And the new AERIN scalloped plates are making an appearance. No one will care but they make me the happiest bumble bee in the entire HIVE.
I’ve had my eye on them forever and lucky for you, they’re on SALE! For heavens sake, I used a salad plate for toast and peanut butter this morning I love them so much!
What makes these plates a knock out is their versatility! The stoneware gives off this very casual, natural vibe. Very appropriate for every day. But the hand painted blue scalloped rims dress them up for special occasions.
So for the first time ever, I’m doing an outside tablescape. I’m talk’in a white linen tablecloth under the twinkle lights, cloth napkins and even place cards! We are celebrating a birthday after all.
Although it’s just a few of us, I’m pumped to go alllll out. I know I talk a lot about entertaining, but it’s only small gatherings over here. It’s all our tiny home can handle! And truthfully intimate gatherings make me the happiest these days.
With the warm summer nights dwindling by the day and our backyard finally looking nice, it’s the perfect opportunity to get creative.
Speaking of our backyard, we’ve been sprucing it up big time this year. Let’s just say a big before and after reveal is coming soon. You won’t believe the transformation!
