MY MOST WORN JACKET EVER

sezane trench

Outfit Details: trench c/o Sézane // scarf c/o Talbots // booties // jeans

When I spent Christmas in Paris a few years ago, I’ll never forget Victoria telling me about this brand called Sézane…

“It’s the “it” brand right now and French girls line up around the block to shop their new arrivals!”

It’s been on my list of places to visit and shop ever since! Flash forward to today, I finally got their most coveted coat online. My conclusion? It’s just as good as a passport these days…

This trench coat I never take off. But there was one thing that caught me by surprise…which is hard to do these days.

Unboxing your order is an experience. It SMELLS like Paris. So much in fact, I pictured French girls delicately spritzing every Sézane parcel with perfume right before it left the shop. Even the garment bag is made of this gauzy delicate material that’s just as chic as the clothes itself! The French really do do it better…

But back to the trench…

I slip it over my pajamas for coffee runs (no one even notices!). Over work out clothes, dresses and jeans. You instantly feel a little more put together. I even wore it in our family photos that’s how much I love it! Not to mention it’s a classic you’ll have for years.

The other day I added a scarf to channel my full inner French girl. I even tied it in a new way. However I must share the importance behind this particular scarf

In honor of October’s breast cancer awareness month, Talbots commissioned three internationally renowned female artists to interpret the courage, strength and determination of women. The result is their 3rd annual limited-edition collection of one-of-a-kind silk scarves. For every scarf sold, Talbots will donate 10% of the net proceeds from September 21, 2020 to October 31, 2020 in support of Susan G. Komen and the Komen Breast Care Helpline in the fight to end breast cancer.

My mom just marked her ten year anniversary of being breast cancer free! So this is always a cause that tugs at my heart strings. Thank you Talbots!
