After sharing our Dining Room transformation, Calico wanted to know more about how I navigated the process of design. So they invited me over to their blog for a fun Q&A with Calico’s, own Jan Jessup!
If you have plans to re-do a room too, I drop some juicy tips and nitty gritty details that you will find helpful.
Most importantly, our dining room re-do would never have been possible without five key players.
- First and foremost, our designer, Melissa Mahoney. She was integral in making our space both functional and aesthetically beautiful. She nailed it!
- Linda, manager of the Calico Hinsdale design studio, was also a huge part of this project and helped us problem solve, offer up different perspectives and we truly value her wisdom.
- On top of it all, Mary of Wonder & Awe, captured every aspect of this room so beautifully. Her impeccable eye for photography and design really help tell the story and make it shine.
- My mom, Cindy, who was there every step of the way. I truly value her opinion, exceptional taste and such a joy to have her come along for the ride. After all, I learn everything from her.
- Last but not least, a special thank you to the team at Calico! They are hands down one of my favorite Cedar & Rush partners. An exceptional brand all across the board – from their headquarters, to their design stores, to their fabrics, to their services and especially – their people.
